TEAM REPORTS

Finance and Administration

Checking acct. Balance-$16,715, Reserve Acct. Balance- $11,759, Building Fund-$7,663

We have received approx. $1600 for parking area—Youth Fund

Facilities and Maintenance

The Steeple is being shipped. We will use the paper towels that we have, and then we will purchase more that fit the holders.

Children

We are using the new literature. Gay Shelley will be taking over 1^st and 2^nd grade. Janine Mize will shadow Billy and Angie’s Classes.

The Senior Adult class is not meeting. There is a vacancy in this area. The class needs to have a meeting.

Extended Care

Profile Sheet for each child needs to be filled out by parents, and a questionnaire is being presented to parents for completion.

TLC

One bereaved family was attended to. Flowers and Cards were sent. Cards were sent to shut-ins and illnesses.

Passport and Youth

The youth will have a fundraiser fellowship on October 27^th.

Shepherds

There is an immediate need for Shepherds. They would serve two-year terms.

These Shepherds will be (Cell Group) Leaders.We will make a list of members and have people nominate potential Shepherds from this list.

Needs to get list of Responsibilities and Qualifications

Pat will present at the business meeting on the 15^th. Nominations will be taken on the 15^th and 22^nd and voted on 29^th.

Music

Musical is still planned for Dec. 15^th.

Fellowship Team

Sept. 29^th will be covered dish. This Friday night we will serve dessert to the meeting, and we will serve donuts and lunch.

Policies and Procedures

Recommend that the Guidance Team select Ethics Team. Motioned carried.

Nominations will be Beth Long by Billy Bland

Mitch Yell by Jef Tobias

Carol Waters by Tom Morris

Frank Bender by Lynnette Bland

This team will carry out ethics policy, maintain records, and investigate allegations.

The Motion was made and carried to accept the above 4 members name.

Two adults in each class will wipe out any possibility of misconduct.

Policy will be given to church at business meeting on Sept.15^th and voted on the 22^nd.

The team will give each teacher a manual on child abuse issues and they will be expected to take a short quiz to prove that they have read and understand the information handed out to them.

The Guidance Team will handle and breach of information by the Ethics Team.

Worship and Planning

We will have a Worship Planning Meeting at 7:30 on Monday Oct. 7^th. This will be a church-wide meeting.

Jef will be out of the office Tuesdays from 11:30-1:30 for 26 weeks.

We will have a Strategic Planning Retreat Sept 13^th and 14^th.

Unfinished Business

We have signed them up as late as today. We have about 28 parking decals sold. Report this in the business meeting.

New Business

Agenda for business meeting. Guidance Team—Tom, Shepherds- Pat, Finance-Billy, Ad Hoc- Carol or Billy. There will be a Church Bazaar next year.
